Gay Heaven - Best Gay Porn Forums

GayHeaven.org feels like walking into a gay bar that never renovated after 2012 and I mean that as a compliment and a complaint.
I’ve used Grindr, Sniffies, PlanetRomeo, Discord servers, Telegram dump groups, and the usual tubes. GayHeaven is none of those. It’s an old-school forum: threads, ranks, “thanks” buttons, people who have been posting since before some of us came out. That is the whole personality of the place.
What it feels like from the inside
The homepage still looks like a XenForo board wearing a blue banner of a guy in a speedo. Guests get locked out of most of the good stuff. After you register (free, fast, 18+ only), you land in a mix that is very gay-internet 2008 – 2016:

General discussion that is half “what movie did you watch” and half “look at this twink, otter, cop, country boy”.
Non-hardcore pic threads where nudity is fine but they try to keep actual sex out of that section.
Porn talk, identify this scene, and request threads (requests often need a post count, which is classic forum gatekeeping).
Celeb thirst, humor, writing, random tube clips.

The energy is not “premium studio catalog.” It’s “a bunch of gay guys trading links, posting themselves, arguing about bodies, and hanging around.” That social layer is the actual product. If you only want to jerk off and bounce, a tube is faster. If you like lurking, commenting, recognizing usernames, and watching the same regulars post speedos at 3 a.m., this hits a nerve a lot of apps killed.
Stats on the board are the kind of numbers only an old forum has: on the order of 120k members, hundreds of thousands of threads, nearly two million messages. A lot of that is archive. The live core is smaller regulars, not a stadium. After downtime they posted “WE ARE BACK ONLINE,” which is very “this community still exists because a few people refuse to let it die.”
Honest gay guy opinion
What I like:

It’s ours in a messy way. Not a dating funnel. Not a pay per minute chat farm. Not gayheaven.net, which is a different, often sleazier product people mix up with this one.
User posted bodies. Amateur, collected, “show yourself off.” That’s the horniest and most human part. You see types algorithms don’t serve you: older guys, specific uniforms, regional looks, the same dude posting for years.
You can actually talk. On apps everyone is a grid of torsos. Here someone will write three paragraphs about a pornstar, a movie, or why they like a certain kind of guy, and other gay men will answer like it’s a locker room that also has a library.
Free. After years of subscriptions and coin systems, a board that just lets you in still feels slightly illegal in a good way.
The culture still has forum manners: read the rules, don’t flood “thanks,” earn the right to request. Annoying, but it filters drive by dumpers a bit.

What I don’t like:

It is not pretty. If your brain is trained on OnlyFans grids and 4K tubes, this looks like your uncle’s bookmark from 2011.
Links die. Hosts change. Threads rot. That’s every free porn forum.
The porn is secondary and uneven. Reviewers who wanted wall to wall hardcore said the same thing: community first, catalog second. They’re right.
You have to participate to get the full meal. Lurking as a guest is thin. Request boards want post count. That’s by design and it will irritate anyone used to infinite scroll.
Reliability. Old forums go down. They came back; that sentence should not have to exist.
Same risks as any amateur heavy gay board: stolen photos, studio rips, guys who may or may not be who they say they are. Use your head. Unique password. Don’t send anything you wouldn’t want forwarded.

Who it’s for:
GayHeaven.org is for gay men who still like forums the slow, slightly clannish, slightly horny public living room. Good if you want conversation plus pics, if you like posting your own body to an audience that comments like humans, or if you’re tired of apps that treat every gay man like a delivery listing.
Skip it if you want dating with intent, polished video libraries, or a modern UI. Those exist elsewhere.
My take: I wouldn’t make this my only porn source. I would keep an account. It’s one of the last big English language gay boards that still feels like a scene instead of a store. Dated, imperfect, a little dusty and more like actual gay internet than another identical tube. If that sounds like home, register, read the rules, and start in General + the non hardcore pic boards before you dive into requests.
